Bloomington To Host Girls National Tournament

(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County will play host to the 2008 girls AAU Division II National Basketball Tournament.
About 75 teams of young women will compete in Bloomington for a national crown.
It's the second time the tourney has been held in Indiana and is expected to generate more than a million dollars for the area.
Ironically, it'll be the second straight year players will head to Bloomington for the national tournament. It'll be held in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2007.
