The Mitchell Bluejackets varsity baseball team improved their record to 5-4 with a 12-3 win at Salem on Wednesday night.
Trevor Sellers pitched the Jackets to the win, he is 1-1 on the season. The Bluejacket bats were alive with a 2 run home run by senior B.A. Barlow in the 4th inning, and a grand slam homer by Tyler Blanton in the 5th. The Bluejackets host the Orleans Bulldogs tonight for varsity and junior varsity action at 4:30 at Jacket field.
