Bluejackets fall to Bulldogs in Mitchell
The Mitchell Bluejackets baseball team dropped a close game at Jacket Field Thursday afternoon to the Orleans Bulldogs 4-3. Jacket highlights included 2 outstanding plays by senior centerfielder Jordan Hawkins a diving catch in the 5th inning, and a bare handed grab earlier in the game. The Bluejackets are now 5-5 on the season. Orleans junior varsity also posted a win 6-3. Mitchell’s JV squad is now 3-2 on the year. Varsity Bluejackets face North Daviess at home this afternoon at 4:45.
