Bluejackets and Bulldogs lose baseball games
Despite a 3 run home run by sophomore Jacob Shaw, the Mitchell Bluejackets lost 11-3 to Perry Central Monday night in Leopold. The Jackets are now 4-4 on the season, and 1-1 in Patoka Lake Athletic Conference play. Mitchell plays varsity and junior varsity baseball at Salem on Wednesday.
The Northeast Dubois Jeeps handed the Orleans Bulldogs their second loss of the season 11-9 last night in Orleans. The Bulldogs are now 5-2 on the season, and travel to Mitchell on Thursday.
