IU Coach's Resignation Made Public

BLOOMINGTON—Details of Indiana University Basketball Coach Mike Davis’ resignation are being made public.
The university will pay Davis $800,000 in 24 monthly installments, beginning 30 days after the end of the season.
However, Davis could be fined $40,000 for making statements critical of I.U. or its officials, or if he encourages players to transfer to another school.
Davis coached I.U. for six seasons.
