Victory for BNL Swim Team
In most states, football and basketball are the dominate high school and college sports. We need to point out that BNL’s boys swim team defeated Floyd Central last Saturday for the first time in ten years. It was a major victory that realized the Stars 124 points over Floyd Central’s 62. BNL’s diving coach Trudie Thorne believes that senior diver Josh Fletcher will quite likely set a school record in the diving competition before the season ends.
BNL Season Tickets Now Available
BEDFORD—Bedford North Lawrence season tickets are on sale for the upcoming BNL boys basketball season. The cost of a season ticket is $30 and is good for all 11 home games.
Bowden to play Nationwide Tour
The life of a Professional golfer is strenuous and filled with stress. Bedford’s Pro, Craig Bowden will play the Nationwide Tour next year. If he wins three events or finishes in the top 20 he’ll regain his PGA card. While he was dissatisfied with his play this year, he managed to earn just over 280-thousand dollars. the Bowdens will be especially thankful this thanksgiving for baby Quinley’s arrival this year.
