(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts fans hoping to celebrate the team's first pick of the 2019 NFL Draft will have to wait a little longer as the Colts traded out of Thursday's first-round.

The Colts sent the No. 26 pick to the Washington Redskins in exchange for Washington's second-round pick this year (No. 46 overall) as well as a 2020 second-round pick.

Colts GM Chris Ballard met with the media following the trade and said the reason was because the Colts saw plenty of talent available.

"We feel good with where we are at. Some of the guys we wanted are still on the board... Washington called right before the pick," he said.

The Colts now have three second-round picks (No. 34, No. 46, No. 59) and Ballard said they may not be done trading.

"That 34th pick is gonna be really attractive to people. So we'll see."
