Celtics Knock Down Road-Weary Pacers

(BOSTON, MA) - The Pacers started showing the wear of a five-game road trip on Wednesday as they were routed by the Boston Celtics 135-108.

Marcus Morris and Jaylen Brown led Boston with 22 points each as seven Celtics scored in double figures when It was all said and done. Boston shot 57-percent from the field and knocked down seventeen 3-pointers.

It was the second game of a back-to-back and the fourth game in the Pacers five-game road trip.

"It just looked like we were gassed tonight," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. "We knew they could come out fast and they did and we weren't able to establish anything defensively against this group."

Domantas Sabonis led Indiana with 20 points while Victor Oladipo added 17.

The Pacers have split the first four games of the road trip and will try to finish with a winning record on Friday when they wrap it up against the New York Knicks.
