(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Poor shooting from three-point range and from the free throw line doomed the Pacers as they had their three-game winning streak snapped in a 98-94 loss to the Houston Rockets.

Despite hitting 44 percent from the field and Victor Oladipo matching James Harden with 28 points the Pacers failed in the other offensive categories.

Indiana was just 8-of-28 from 3-point range (28.6%) and missed 10 free throws (20-of-30).

Harden, the league's reigning MVP, knocked down a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 36 seconds left and then closed out the game by making four straight free throws.

"We still gave ourselves a chance to win, we just came up short," Oladipo said. "The beauty of it is there is another game on Wednesday."

The Pacers close out their three-game home stand on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
