(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers used a second half surge to get a 75-56 win over Marian University in Thursday night’s exhibition.
Ryan Cline led Purdue with a game-high 23 points, hitting 7-for-10 from 3-point range. Matt Haarms added 12 points while Carsen Edwards finished with six.
Purdue's defense forced 21 turnovers and the win improved the Boilermakers to 25-0 in exhibition games under head coach Matt Painter.
Purdue struggled from beyond the arc as Cline was the only player to hit from 3-point range as they finished 7-of-30.
Purdue will gear up for Tuesday's season opener against Fairfield.
