(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - With Adam Vinateri’s status for Sunday up in the air the Colts worked out three kickers on Tuesday just in case Vinateri’s groin injury keeps him sidelined.
Cairo Santos, Kai Forbath and Taylor Bertolet were all brought in for workouts.
Santos has been the most recently active of the three as he filled in for the Rams while Greg Zuerlein was injured. Bertolet was in camp with the Jets over the summer while Forbath played for the Vikings last season but has been a free agent since.
Meanwhile, Colts running back Marlon Mack and linebacker Darius Leonard are up for NFL weekly awards as Mack is one of three nominees for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week while Leonard is one of five nominees for NFL Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
