Colts Cut Roster Down To 53, Acquire Marcus Johnson From Seahawks

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Over the weekend the Colts cut their roster down to 53 players.

Indianapolis waived 19 players, waived another 10 that were injured, released 3 vets, and put 4 on the IR.

They also added RB Robert Turbin to the suspended list and traded TE Darrell Daniels to the Seahawks for WR Marcus Johnson.

The deepest cut of the weekend was Colts defensive-end John Simon. Last season Simon had 27 solos, 15 assists and a pick six.

The Colts set off the 2018 regular season this Sunday at home against the Bengals. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
