Andrew Luck Opens Up About Shoulder Injury

Last updated on Wednesday, September 5, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Andrew Luck opened up about just how concerned he was about his shoulder injury.

Speaking to the Indianapolis Star, the Colts QB feared he would never play again.

"There was a time I was very scared about football, and about my place in football," he said.

Luck added that during the worst of his attempts to throw a football he went to a dark place.

"I was a sad, miserable human. I was not nice to myself, nor was I nice to anyone else. I was a miserable SOB to be around. I was nervous. I was scared."

Luck is now just days away from making his official return to football when he and the Colts step on the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
