Colts' Ryan Grant Taking Lead In No. 2 WR Role

Last updated on Tuesday, August 7, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - It was a pretty quiet Monday at Colts training camp, which isn’t a bad thing.

The biggest headline coming out of Monday was that Ryan Grant is emerging as the team's No. 2 wide receiver behind T.Y. Hilton.

"T.Y. and Ryan have really separated themselves," head coach Frank Reich said.

Grant is coming off a career year with the Washington Redskins where he caught 45 passes for 573 yards and four touchdowns.

"Ryan has done everything we have asked and improved every day," Reich continued.

The Colts will hold their final training camp practice today before departing for Seattle to prepare for Thursday's preseason opener against the Seahawks.
