Pacers Win Streak Ends In Denver

Last updated on Wednesday, April 4, 2018

(DENVER, CO) - The Indiana Pacers were unable to cap off a perfect road trip as they came up short against the Denver Nuggets 107-104, ending their five-game winning streak.

Nikola Jokic led Denver with a game-high 30 points while Wil Barton had a 26 point and 10 rebound double-double as the Nuggets won their third straight.

Victor Oladipo led Indiana with 25 points and Thaddeus Young had a 15 point and 10 rebound double-double but it wasn't enough as a key three-pointer by Jamal Murray gave Denver a late cushion.

"We've been in those types of games many times nad we've won, just tonight we kind of came up short," Oladipo said.

The Pacers finish their road trip 3-1 and they remain in the fifth-seed in the Eastern Conference. Both Cleveland and Philadelphia won their games so the Pacers are now 1.5 games behind the 76ers for the fourth seed and 2 games behind the Cavs for the third seed.

The Pacers host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.

Meanwhile, first round playoff tickets for the Pacers go on sale today at 4pm EST.
