(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Pacers guard Victor Oladipo confirmed the rumors that he will be participating in the Verizon Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star weekend.
Oladipo is joined by the Orlando Magic's Aaron Gordon, the Los Angeles Lakers' Larry Nance Jr., and the Dallas Mavericks' Dennis Smith Jr.
Oladipo has previous experience as he participated in the 2015 Slam Dunk Contest when he was still a member of the Magic. He was the runner-up to Minnesota's Zach LaVine.
"I thought it would be a great opportunity," Oladipo said during Thursday's practice. "I think the biggest reason is couldn't really do it this year and I wanted to help him defend his title."
