(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts made it official as they introduced Frank Reich as their new head coach on Tuesday.

The 56-year old, fresh off a Super Bowl victory, said he knows he wasn't the team's first choice and he embraces it.

"The backup role has suited me well in my career," Reich said with a laugh.

It's hard to argue as he authored the largest playoff comeback in history when he replaced an injured Jim Kelly in Buffalo, helped the Philadelphia Eagles not miss a beat when Nick Foles replaced an injured Carson Wentz and took over as the lead guy in Indianapolis after Josh McDaniels bowed out at the last minute.

As for what to expect from the Colts under Reich's leadership he said he will be calling the offensive plays and the team will switch from a 3-4 defense to a 4-3 defense.

When it comes to Andrew Luck: "This is a team game. As great as he is - and I believe he's the best - but I just came off a team that we lost our franchise quarterback and still won a Super Bowl. The game is not about one player. I can't wait to work with him. I think he's a special talent but if we're going to win championships, and that's the plan, it's going to be about, surrounding, bring out the best in everybody."
