(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts head coaching search continues but two candidates have removed themselves from consideration.

Baylor coach Matt Rhule has withdrawn his name a day after news got out that he interviewed with the team earlier this week. Joining Rhule is Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks, who was supposed to interview with the Colts on Thursday but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said he declined the interview as the Colts seem focused on hiring an offensive-minded coach.

According to the Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer, the Colts have already interviewed Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, Seahawks defensive coordinator Kris Richard, Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel, Rhule and former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who has since been hired by the Chicago Bears.

Another former Colts coach from the Chuck Pagano regime has found a new landing spot as Jemal Singleton joined Jon Gruden's staff with the Oakland Raiders as running backs coach. Singleton held the same position with Indianapolis for two seasons and spent the previous 14 years in the college ranks.

Meanwhile, Colts quarterbacks coach Brian Schottenheimer could be on the move as well as Rapoport says the Seattle Seahawks want to talk to him about their vacant offensive coordinator position. Schottenheimer has spent the last two seasons with Indianapolis.
