(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts head coaching search is reportedly down to two finalists.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported over the weekend that it is down to Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel. It should be noted that no offers have been made to either candidate and with vacancies still in New York, Arizona and Detroit it could mean neither becomes head coach of the Colts.

Over the weekend, McDaniels and the Patriots advanced to the AFC Championship Game where they will take on Colts' AFC South rival, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

No timetable for a decision has been made as GM Chris Ballard promised a thorough and methodical search for a head coach.
