Colts Interview Baylor Head Coach Matt Rhule

Last updated on Thursday, January 11, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts threw a wild card into list of head coaching candidates as they reportedly interviewed Baylor head coach Matt Rhule earlier this week.

Rhule went 1-11 in his first season with the Bears and is 29-34 in five seasons as a college football coach. He is mostly known for turning around Temple when they were 2-10 in his first season before posting back-to-back 10 win seasons in 2015 and 2016.

The Colts will have a representative in the Pro Bowl after all as wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was named to the All-Star game on Wednesday. Hilton will replace Bengals' wide receiver A.J. Green who will miss the game due to injury.

Hilton finished the 2017 season with 57 catches for 966 yards and four touchdowns.

It is Hilton's fourth straight Pro Bowl selection and the game will be played January 28 in Orlando.
