Andrew Luck Could Require Another Shoulder Surgery After Europe Rehab

Last updated on Monday, December 18, 2017

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to return to Indianapolis later this week after spending the last month in Europe to receive treatment on his surgically-repaired throwing shoulder.

ESPN's Chris Mortenson reported that Luck is going to start throwing again soon and it will determine whether or not he needs to undergo surgery to repair his biceps tendon. Should pain return to his shoulder during the throwing sessions Mortensen cited multiple sources that Luck would get the second surgery, which usually carries a 3-6 month recovery window.

The Colts and Luck are hoping to know one way or the other if surgery is required by mid-January.
