Thunder Lift Paul George In Return To Indianapolis

Last updated on Thursday, December 14, 2017

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Paul George was met with a chorus of boos as he was announced in introductions but the former Pacer got the last laugh as Oklahoma City edged Indiana 100-95.

George was far from the top of his game as he finished with 12 points, five assists and three steals over 33 minutes but was happy to get out with a win.

"I'm happy this circus is over with. Everybody can move on," he said of the national spotlight and extra attention. "I understood what the environment was going to be, so it wasn't a surprise."

Steven Adams led the Thunder with a game-high 23 points and 13 rebounds while Victor Oladipo led the Pacers with 19 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals.

OKC dominated in second-chance points as 17 of their 35 rebounds were on the offensive side and the trips to the free-throw line were definitely in their favor as they made 15-of-24 attempts compared to the Pacers 4-for-6.
