Pagano: We're "Finding Some Really Unique Ways To Screw It Up"

Last updated on Tuesday, November 28, 2017

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - It was an odd day at the Colts practice facility.

Coming off their 20-16 loss to the Tennessee Titans head coach Chuck Pagano was asked about his team blowing leads this season. It was the eighth time Indianapolis had led at halftime and ended with a loss.

Pagano said the team seems to be "finding some really unique ways to screw it up" before being asked if the regular blown leads are beginning to feel like the Bill Murray Groundhog Day.

"You've never seen the Bill Murray movie? Come on! I jumped off my roof, it's not going away." He then said it does feel like everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop when the Colts have a lead. "It's everybody. It's you guys. It's the fans. It's everybody in the NFL community. There's a storm in the Atlantic, a hurricane. When's it going to hit landfall? Third quarter? Middle of the third quarter? It's getting late third, they're up 10. Gotta happen sometime. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy right now."

The Colts also got word that cornerback Rashaan Melvin suffered a "significant hand injury" and that he will miss some time.
