Pacers Edge Grizzlies In Memphis

Last updated on Thursday, November 16, 2017

(MEMPHIS, TN) - A big night by Darren Collison helped the Pacers edge the Memphis Grizzlies 116-113 on Wednesday night.

Collison scored a season-high 30 points and added eight assists while Victor Oladipo added 21 points, six rebounds and three assists.

It was another close call in the fourth quarter as the Pacers let a 17-point lead nearly vanish and let out a sigh of relief when a Marc Gasol 3-point attempt with three seconds left bounced off the rim.

"I think we've just got to do a better job of executing in the final five minutes if we want to get better," Collison said afterwards. "I don't know how much of it was them or more of us."

Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with a game-high 35 points and 13 rebounds but Indiana shot over 50 percent from the field and from 3-point range.

The Blue & Gold get back to work Friday when they host the Detroit Pistons.
