Duke Uses Late Run To Pull Away From Indiana 91-81

Last updated on Thursday, November 30, 2017

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Hoosiers hung tough but the Duke Blue Devils pulled away late as the No. 1-ranked team in the country topped Indiana 91-81 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Marvin Bagley III led Duke with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Grayson Allen added 21 points. The Blue Devils shot 55 percent from the field as they went on a 17-4 run late in the second half to improve to 9-0.

Indiana was led by Robert Johnson's 17 points while De'Ron Davis added 16. Johnson said hanging tough with Duke showed the Hoosiers they can play against anybody.

"I think it gave us kind of a baseline standard of where we've got to play every night."

Indiana had only nine turnovers in the game but struggled from the free throw line, hitting 16-of-26 from the charity stripe.

The Hoosiers fall to 4-3 and open up Big Ten conference play on Saturday when they visit Michigan.
