(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Chuck Pagano said Andrew Luck will get some work with the practice squad this week as the team prepares for the Tennessee Titans.
Luck will work 7-on-7 drills and is expected the throw five to six passes in those drills. Those signs, along with what Luck said after Thursday's practice, indicate that significant progress is being made.
"Starting to get into an environment where everything is not controlled, which is certainly football to a certain degree. I think every step at this point is a substantial step."
Luck cautioned that just because his role is steadily increasing doesn't mean they are putting him on the fast track.
"It would be foolish to get close to the finish line and start skipping steps."
Jacoby Brissett will be under center when the Colts visit the Titans on Monday Night Football.
