Colts Keeping Luck Out Of Practice Due To Sore Shoulder

Last updated on Thursday, October 19, 2017

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts announced Andrew Luck suffered a setback and will miss practice the rest of the week after receiving a cortisone injection in his surgically-repaired shoulder.

"He has some soreness that he's been dealing with," General Manager Chris Ballard said. "The good news is Andrew is very in tune with his body and he's being honest with what's going on. That's what we want and that's what we need."

Ballard didn't offer a timetable for Luck's return to practice but said his rehab was going well.

"His velocity's good, his motion is good, it's just the soreness that we're dealing with right and that we've got to get through."

Needless to say, it will be Jacoby Brissett's team for the foreseeable future.
