(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts General Manager Chris Ballard spoke on the team’s weekly radio show and said Andrew Luck will be returning to practice this week.
"I've watched him throw and he's really starting to get his motion back. We'll slowly start working him back into practice this week. We'll see how much he gets but we have a plan in place where we want to start getting him reps and in time as we can get him incorporated into teamwork, we'll get him back on the field."
Chuck Pagano said that even when Luck does return to practice that it doesn't mean he is going to be right back in on game days.
"Everybody has to understand that he isn't going to come out and take all the first team reps and take 50-60 snaps in practice a day. We need to integrate him back into practice. Like anybody else we are going to bring him along carefully. When it does happen it will be great to just have him back out there with everybody."
Pagano also noted that rookie center Deyshawn Bond has "quite a significant quad injury" and was hopeful they could get Ryan Kelly back from injury.
