(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Pacers center Myles Turner was a guest on Sirius XM’s NBA Radio on Wednesday and said all the talk that the Pacers are an afterthought heading into the season is motivation.
"People look at us as a young team that's trying to rebuild but we're a young team trying to compete," he said. "We've got a lot of guys coming here and can make an impact right away, I'm expecting to be in the playoffs this year."
Turner added that his personal goals are to grow into a leadership role and be an All-Star.
