Pacers Fall To Cavs In Double Overtime

Last updated on Monday, April 3, 2017

(Cleveland, OH) - It was a duel of two superstars in Quicken Loans arena Monday evening as Paul George and the desperate Pacers took on King James and the struggling Cavs.

The Pacers stayed on Cleveland's hip the entire night, with just seconds remaining CJ Miles hit a huge corner 3 to force overtime.

In the first overtime JR Smith nailed a 3 that looked like lights out for the Pacers, but Paul George came back down immediately and drilled a 3 of his own, eventually Indiana forced another overtime.

As the clock ticked, a Kevin Love 3 pointer with under 30 seconds left put the lead to far ahead of Indiana and the Pacers went on to lose by 5 in double overtime 135 -130.

Paul George had 43 points while LeBron James totaled 41 points with 15 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Pacers will need as many wins as possible with 5 games remaining. They'll look to get back on track tomorrow night when the Raptors come to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
