Raptors Rout Pacers 116-91

Last updated on Monday, March 20, 2017

(Toronto, ON) After three days off one would think the Pacers were refreshed and ready for a road trip against division foe Toronto.

Not exactly. The Pacers came out of the gate fast and kept it close until the bullets started flying midway through the first quarter.

Despite the Raptors all-pro player Kyle Lowery sitting out, Indiana still had trouble catching Toronto's pace.

The Raptors beat the Pacers up on the interior. Jonas Valaciunas had a double-double by halftime and relatively new addition Serge Ibaka dropped in 16 himself.

Head Coach Nate McMillan concluded the Pacers 116-91 loss by saying, "Their physicality took us out of what we wanted to do offensively ... we allowed them to go wherever they wanted to."

One of the positives for the Pacers Sunday night was Thaddeus Young's effort pouring in 16 points.

Indiana will look to Thad to ignite the blue and gold tonight as they try to bounce back against Gordon Hayward, Trey Lyles and the Utah Jazz.
