(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - With all the rumors and speculation about whether the Pacers would trade Paul George or build around him the trade deadline came and went Thursday with the organization doing neither and deciding to stand pat.
"I knew what was going on. Even avoiding the internet and TV it was hard to not hear things. It was going to happen one way or the other. I'm focusing on me and doing my part to turn this team around."
Asked what he thought of the team standing pat with the roster George said, "We'll work with what we got."
The Pacers return to action tonight when they host the Memphis Grizzlies and hope to snap out of their six-game losing streak. Tip-off is at 7pm.
