Hoosiers Top Penn State In Triple Overtime

Last updated on Thursday, February 2, 2017

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Hoosiers topped Penn State 110-102 in a triple-overtime thriller Wednesday night to end their two-game slide.

Thomas Bryant was one of three Hoosiers' to have a career-high night as he scored 31 points and added 11 rebounds. Josh Newkirk and Robert Johnsons also set personal bests with 27 points apiece.

"We had enough time to do it," Johnson laughed after a game that lasted over three hours. "Those guys, we just kept fighting and it didn't matter who had to make a play."

Indiana shot 52.6 percent from the field as a team and now get ready for back-to-back games against top-25 teams, starting with a visit to No. 10 Wisconsin on Sunday.
