(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Indiana Hoosiers fell just short in a back and forth matchup against Minnesota, falling 75-74 to the Gophers Wednesday night.

Akeem Springs flipped in a rebound of his own missed shot with 3 seconds left to hand Indiana their fourth straight loss. Meanwhile, Nate Mason gave Indiana fits all night as he scored a game-high 30 points and Jordan Murphy added 14 points and 15 rebounds.

For the Hoosiers, James Blackmon Jr. led with 22 points while Juwan Morgan added 14 off the bench.

"Our guys came to fight tonight, no doubt about it," Tom Crean said after the game. "Minnesota just made one more play."

The Hoosiers get time to rest up before their next game, which is Tuesday at Iowa.
