Purdue's Caleb Swanigan Named Big Ten Player Of The Week

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Caleb Swanigan has been named Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

The Purdue sophomore averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds, 1.5 assists and one block per game and shot 50 percent from the field in two Boilermakers' victories.

Swangian has recorded double-doubles in eight straight games and his four Player of the Week awards are the second most for a Purdue player in school history and tied for third most by a Big Ten player in league history since the award started in 1981-82.
