No Plan For Surgery For Luck's Throwing Shoulder

Last updated on Friday, December 16, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Andrew Luck returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with a right shoulder and elbow injury.

Luck has dealt with shoulder injuries all season and despite being hit so much this season, Jim Irsay told the NFL's Ian Rapoport that he doesn't believe the Colts QB will need any off-season doctor visits.

"No plan for surgery, certainly not on his throwing shoulder."

Three players were new additions to the "Did Not Participate" list in Thursday's practice, most notably T.Y. Hilton, who sat out with a back injury. Arthur Jones sat out with a groin injury and Denzelle Good, who was limited in Wednesday's practice, sat out as he continues to recover from a concussion.

The Colts also called up two players from their practice squad, offensive tackle Jeremy Vujnovich and linebacker Deiontrez Mount.
