Nebraska Snaps No. 16 Indiana's Home Winning Streak At 26

Last updated on Thursday, December 29, 2016

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana’s home winning streak was snapped at 26 in stunning fashion as the No. 16 Hoosiers were upset by Nebraska 87-83.

Cornhuskers' guards Glynn Watson Jr. and Tai Webster had 26 and 21 points respectively.

Indiana got off to a slow start in the first game of conference play and Tom Crean said he was just as surprised with the team's poor night.

"They did a great job and they made more plays than we did and it's bewildering to me that we're having trouble challenging shots," Crean said after the game.

All five Hoosiers' starters scored in double-figures with Robert Johnson leading the way with 19 points and Thomas Bryant adding a 17 point and 10 rebound double-double.

Indiana falls to 10-3 on the season and face a tough test on Friday when they host the No. 6 Louisville Cardinals.
