Klay Thompson Scores 60 Points As Warriors Rout Pacers

Last updated on Tuesday, December 6, 2016

(OAKLAND, CA) - Klay Thompson was a one-man wrecking crew, scoring a career-high 60 points in 29 minutes as the Golden State Warriors made short work of the Pacers in a 142-106 rout.

Thompson scored 40 of his 60 points in the first half and it was the most points ever by a Pacers' opposing player. Thompson and the majority of the rest of the Warriors' starters sat out the final quarter with the game well in hand.

Paul George led Indiana with 21 points and 10 rebounds while Jeff Teague added 16 points and six assists.

The loss drops the Pacers a game under .500 as their five-game road trip continues Wednesday when they take on the struggling Phoenix Suns.
