Pacers Spoil Vogel's Return With 88-69 Win Over Magic

Last updated on Tuesday, November 15, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Bankers Life Fieldhouse welcomed former Head Coach Frank Vogel into town last night as the Orlando Magic tipped off against the Pacers.

With Paul George favoring an ankle injury there was a big opportunity for not-so-familiar Pacers to step up. New 2016 roster addition Kevin Seraphin provided a spark off the bench along with CJ Miles who led the Pacers in scoring with 16 points.

Coming off of a big win against Oklahoma City, the Magic were ready to make a run. Serge Ibaka followed up his 31 point performance the night before with just 6 points. Evan Fournier led all Orlando players with 14 points.

The Pacers defense ignited the way through the 4th quarter and held Orlando to just 33% shooting.

The Pacers ended up running away with it and spoiling Vogel's warm welcome 88-69.
