Colts' McNary Apologizes To Titans Player For Penalized Hit

Last updated on Wednesday, October 26, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts linebacker Josh McNary has apologized for his hit on Titans’ tight end Delanie Walker.

The hit drew an unnecessary roughness penalty and negated an interception. McNary took to his Instagram account and said he thought Walker had caught the ball and attempted to let up when he realized he wasn't the intended receiver. The NFL has yet to rule whether they view it as a fineable penalty.

Meanwhile, all signs are pointing to the Colts getting wide receiver Donte Moncrief back in practice this week. Chuck Pagano said he was hopeful to get the wideout back on the practice field saying, "I think he will get on the field on Wednesday in a limited capacity."

Moncrief hasn't played since Week 2 due to a fractured scapula.

Phillip Dorsett, Henry Anderson and Zach Kerr are also expected to be back in some capacity when the team begins prepping for the Kansas City Chiefs later today.
