(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts placed linebacker Trent Cole on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday as he deals with a back injury.
Cole has been dealing with the injury since the start of the season and it kept him out of their Week 2 loss to Denver. Cole was a part of the big spending off-season two years ago when the Colts brought aboard Cole, Frank Gore and Andre Johnson.
The loss of Cole leaves the Colts with four outside linebackers and they will have to act fast if they want to add a player to the roster as the team is set to leave for London on Thursday.
