5 Former Colts Nominated For Hall Of Fame

(UNDATED) - The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its 94 modern-era nominees for the Class of 2017 with five Colts making the cut.

Running back Edgerrin James, safety Bob Sanders, linebacker Cornelius Bennett and offensive lineman Ray Donaldson and Chris Hinton were among the nominees. Sanders is in the first year of eligibility while James was a finalist for 2016.

Other notable players on the list include LaDanian Tomlinson, Jason Taylor and Hines Ward.

The list will be trimmed to 25 in November and 15 finalists in January.
