David Blough Named Purdue Starting Quarterback

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - David Blough has been named Purdue’s starting quarterback.

The Texas native started eight games for the Boilermakers last season and threw 10 touchdowns, eight interceptions for 1,574 yards.

Blough will be the fourth different opening day starter in four seasons.

"I told David earlier, 'There's no reason to look over your shoulder. This is your job," head coach Darrell Hazell said.

Blough and the Boilermakers open the season on September 3 against Eastern Kentucky.
