Colts To Cut Roster To 75

Last updated on Tuesday, August 30, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts have until tomorrow afternoon to get their roster cut down to 75 and they’ve made a number of moves since Sunday morning to get closer to that number.

As of this afternoon, the team's roster stands at 77 following the release of four more players on Monday morning. Those cuts included former Purdue wide receiver Danny Anthrop and running back Trey Williams.

The Colts did add one player to their roster over the weekend after they signed running back Stevan Ridley. Ridley is a five-foot, eleven-inch, 220 pound back and has played in 60 career NFL games with 26 starts. He went to a Super Bowl with New England in his rookie season of 2011, and again in 2014, while he was injured.
