(TORONTO, CAN) - Will Power continued to roll as he won his third race of the Verizon IndyCar Series season by taking the checkered flag at the Honda Indy Toronto.
Power edged out teammate Helio Castroneves by 1.5275 seconds and moved him into second place in the championship hunt, 47 points shy of leader Simon Pagenaud.
"We've been playing catch-up all year but every race we're executing, getting great strategies, great cars. We just have to keep chipping away and see if we have a shot at this," Power said afterwards.
After Power and Castroneves the rest of the top five were James Hinchcliffe, Tony Kanaan and Takuma Sato.
