Pacers Officially Announce Three Trades

Last updated on Friday, July 8, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers had a busy Thursday as three separate trades were made official.

Indiana acquired forward Jeremy Evans and cash from the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for the rights to Stanko Barac. The move appears to be a salary cap move for Dallas.

Meanwhile, the Blue & Gold officially announced the acquisitions of Jeff Teague and Thaddeus Young. The Teague deal was made ahead of the NBA Draft that sent George Hill to the Utah Jazz and the No. 12 pick went to Atlanta.

Team president Larry Bird thanked George in a statement for his five seasons with the team. "He was a great guy who did a lot for the community. We wish him nothing but the best."

Bird also noted that Teague and Young add unique versatility to their lineup.
