Colts' Arthur Jones Hit With 4-Game Suspension

Last updated on Monday, July 25, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Over the weekend, Colts defensive lineman Arthur Jones was hit with a four-game suspension by the NFL for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

Jones can participate in training camp and preseason games but will be required to sit out the first four regular-season games, meaning he won't be eligible to return until October 3.

The suspension comes on the heels of his brother and UFC fighter Jon Jones being pulled from UFC 200 after testing positive for two banned substances by the USDA.

Arthur Jones missed all of the 2015 season after suffering an ankle injury in the preseason.
