(HOBART) - The Bedford 13-under Little League All-Stars claimed the 2016 Intermediate Division State Tournament crown at Hobart.
Bedford battled past a strong Broad Ripple Haverford team out of Indianapolis, 1-0, in the title tilt Saturday night after pushing past Chet Waggoner LL, 10-3, in the semifinals as the local boys finished unbeaten at the state tournament.
Bedford advances to the Central Region in Kalamazoo, Mi., from July 22-27.
