Pacers Host Pre-Draft Workout, PG13 To Be Featured On Video Game Title

Last updated on Thursday, June 2, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers hosted their fourth pre-draft workout with one of their participants being former five-star recruit Thon Maker.

The 19-year old said his reason for entering the draft and forgoing college was because he "knew his work ethic would help push me." He added that he is always "getting better and better" and that "you can always use better" when asked why he should be an appealing selection to teams.

The Pacers will stay busy this week as they host their fifth pre-draft workout on Thursday. North Carolina's Marcus Paige, Oregon State's Gary Payton II, USC's Julian Jacobs, Seton Hall's Isiah Whitehead, Maryland's Robert Carter Jr. and Dayton's Dyshawn Pierre are all scheduled to participate.

Confirming rumors from Tuesday, the Pacers' Paul George will be the cover athlete for the next installment of the NBA 2K video game series. George will be on the "standard" edition of NBA 2K17, while a "legends" edition will feature the Lakers' Kobe Bryant. The game is scheduled for an early fall release.
