(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Former Colts General Manager and soon-to-be Hall of Famer Bill Polian will be the 13th member of the team’s Ring of Honor, the Colts announced on Monday.

The induction will happen at halftime in the Colts' Week 17 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 1.

"Bill was incredibly successful during his time with our franchise and proved to be a Hall of Famer," owner Jim Irsay said in a press release. "He was one of the most innovative personalities to ever grace our sport, and his passion for the game was and still is unmatched."

Polian spent 14 seasons with the organization and helped build a team that won 146 games, 11 playoff berths, eight division titles, an NFL-record five straight 12-win seasons, two Super Bowl appearances and a championship.
